Dr. M. Lalitha Kameswari(State Best Teacher Awardee) General Secretary – Andhra Mahila Sabha, President – Sai Seva Sangh

Dr. Lalitha Kameswari an academician and an administrator has been associated with and been serving AMS for more than four decades now. She obtained her Masters Degree in Economics, she later did her doctoral programme from S. V. University. She joined AMS in 1976 and thus completed 34 years of service at AMS, Arts & Science College for Women. She is Presently the General Secretary of Andhra Mahila Sabha Trust Board. Her passion for work did not allow her to retire from her work. Two of the books on released by the then Chief Minister Sri. N. Chandra Babu Naidu. She has given 15 lessons of live telecast to under graduates students through MANA T.V channel which was broadcast over the whole State of Andhra Pradesh. Besides MANA T.V. , she also presented programmes on Doordarshan and ET.V as Budget Analyst. Further, Dr. Lalitha has also given nearly 7 Radio talks on various issues of women. Her article in Vaartha on Effects of Globalisation on Women in Agricultural Sector was applauded by many for the analytical approach and was selected for publication in a competitions conducted on International Women’s Day 2006.She served as a distinguished member in number of academic bodies such as Board of Studies of Department of Economics of Nizam Collegeand Osmania University. She is also a recipient of the Rashtriya Gourav Ratan Award from the Economics and Human Resource Development Association at New Delhi in 2007. She is also a recipient of International Achiever Award for Educational Excellence at International Achiever Award summit at Bangkok, Thailand in 2009. Dr. Lalitha received Vidya Ratan Award for excellence in Academics held on 18th January, 2010 at New Delhi.

Aruna Pradeep, Secretary

An Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, she has been the cornerstone of the Sai Seva Sangh and an inspiration to many other volunteers. She has been associated with the organization since 1992 and has been providing dedicated service to scale the various units. Her passion for serving the society is extraordinary as she has worked tirelessly over the years to provide all round development to the children and inmates.

M Rama Devi, wife of M Karuna Raju, is Director of M/S Satya Sai Industries Private Ltd, Patancheru Hyderabad; Managing partner in Sai Aqua Products, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh; Dealer for CP Aquaculture India Private Ltd., Guntur district.

Sai Gowri, Member

Ms. Sai Gowri is a seasoned IT professional who is an alumnus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. She is associated with Sai Seva Sangh right since her college days in 2001 and has been actively contributing to the organization. She holds a BTech in IT and an MBA from the Indian School of Business (Hyderabad).

Uma Gopal Bathina, Member

Ms. Uma Gopal Bathina was Senior Vice President in Citibank. She has worn different hats in her 16 years with Citibank, initially with Corporate Affairs covering Public Relations, Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Event management for the Bank's India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh operations. Her next role was to set up and later expand the Micro-Finance business for Citibank across India. During this period, she covered retail as well as Corporate lending to microfinance individuals and companies. One of the highlights in this business was taking the first Indian Microfinance company public. Uma was also the team leader for the development of the Biometric ATM for the microfinance customers of Citibank. After her last role in Citibank in 2012, Uma is now active with children's literacy through the Hyderabad based NGO Pustakaar. She is a member of the core team that plans and executes the NGOs vision to encourage underprivileged children in over 60 schools in Hyderabad to read and get comfortable with books.
