Dr. Radha Bathina
Dr. Radha Bathina’s life was a testament to selfless service, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and impactful deeds that will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her. As a dedicated physician, she devoted two decades of her career to caring for patients at St. Joseph’s Hospital and the V.A. Hospital in Fort Wayne, touching countless lives with her healing touch.
In her later years, Dr. Bathina’s commitment to service took her beyond the confines of hospitals as she became deeply involved with the Sathya Sai Organization. For the last decade of her life, she traveled across the globe, tirelessly providing medical aid to the most vulnerable communities, embodying the organization’s ethos of selfless service. As a founding member of Sai Seva Sangh, she played a pivotal role in its establishment, inspiring numerous young individuals to join the cause and become active contributors.
Dr. Bathina’s impact extended beyond mere words and intentions; she was instrumental in the construction of an orphanage and a temple, contributing not only her time and expertise but also her financial support during the organization’s formative years. Her commitment to serving others was unwavering until her last breath, leaving a profound imprint on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.
In her final moments, Dr. Radha Bathina remained true to her essence—an inspiration to those around her, exuding peace from within and offering prayers of solace. Though she may have departed from this world, her spirit of service and love will continue to resonate, guiding and inspiring generations to come.
Dr.Ravi N. Bathina, M.D., F.A.C.C.
After spending four years as an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Osmania University, Dr. Bathina came to the United States and performed his internal medicine residency at Columbus Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Bathina is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, and has a Level II Certification in Cardiac MR and Cardiac CT Scanning. Dr. Bathina is also certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiolgy in Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of the Fort Wayne Medical Society, the Indiana State Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. He is also board-certified by the ACC Council of Geriatric Cardiology.
He embodied a fatherly figure to countless girls, staff, and members of Sai Seva Sangh. “Thank you” feels inadequate in expressing the depth of gratitude for his unwavering dedication to this organization. With boundless encouragement and support, he propelled members forward, urging them to elevate the organization to new heights, particularly in its mission to provide education for underprivileged and orphaned girls.
His mantra, “Love All Serve All,” wasn’t just a saying; it was the cornerstone of his existence. Every action he took resonated with this principle, shaping his life into a beacon of compassion and service. His legacy will forever echo through the lives he touched, inspiring others to carry forward his noble mission with the same fervor and love.

Dr. M. Lalitha Kameswari, President
Dr M.lalitha Kameswari is an Academician turned Administrator. With a passion for serving society she associated herself with a renowned voluntary organization, Andhra Mahila Sabha for the past Four (4) decades. Andhra Mahila Sabha, founded by the visionary leader Dr (Smt) Durgabai Deshmukh, works to empower women through education and health care and strives to Build Better Lives for women.
A PhD in Economics, Dr.Lalitha Joined as a Lecturer at Andhra Mahila Sabha Women’s College in 1976. After her retirement, she continued to serve the other units of AMS in different capacities as Secretary, Director, and so on.
Since 2015 she has been serving AMS in the capacity of General Secretary of the Trust Board. As the first lady Secretary of the Trust board, she continues to serve the organization till date.
As an Academician and gifted scholar and researcher, she has several articles published in reputed journals. She has also co-authored few books on Women Empowerment and Health Care, of which two were released by Sri. Chandra Babu Naidu, the then Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh. She was well appreciated for her contribution to Research on “women empowerment and women issues”.
On the spiritual side, as an ardent devotee of Sri Satya Satya Sai Baba Garu, she has also translated a few books from Telugu to English.
In recognition of her contribution to academics and her service to society, she has received a number of awards from the Govt. and NGOs.
Vijayalakshmi Bulusu, a former student of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Women’s College in Anantapur for five years, received a comprehensive, value-based education free of charge. Afterward, she spent three decades working in various senior positions in banks. She has always harbored a desire to impart the same values and love she received during her college days to the current generation of needy girls.
Sai Seva Sangh has been instrumental in transforming the lives of numerous underprivileged girl children. Through providing them with shelter, healthcare, and education free of cost, as well as supporting their higher education, the organization empowers these girls to stand confidently on their own feet. As the Vice President of Sai Seva Sangh, Vijayalakshmi is honored and humbled to contribute to the mission of performing, reforming, and transforming the lives of underprivileged girl children.
Aruna Pradeep, Secretary
An Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, she has been the cornerstone of the Sai Seva Sangh and an inspiration to many other volunteers. She has been associated with the organization since 1992 and has been providing dedicated service to scale the various units. Her passion for serving the society is extraordinary as she has worked tirelessly over the years to provide all round development to the children and inmates.

M Rama Devi, wife of M Karuna Raju, is Director of M/S Satya Sai Industries Private Ltd, Patancheru Hyderabad; Managing partner in Sai Aqua Products, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh; Dealer for CP Aquaculture India Private Ltd., Guntur district.
Sai Gowri, Member
Ms. Sai Gowri is a seasoned IT professional who is an alumnus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. She is associated with Sai Seva Sangh right since her college days in 2001 and has been actively contributing to the organization. She holds a BTech in IT and an MBA from the Indian School of Business (Hyderabad).
Suseela Oruganti, Member
Suseela Oruganti holds an MSc in Applied Statistics from Osmania University (OU), an OYPC in Statistical Methods and Applications from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), and a PGDCA from Hyderabad Central University (HCU). She is a passionate teacher and a dedicated Parent Teacher Coach, Master Behavior Counselor, and Education in Human Values (EHV) Teacher. Suseela has been honored with a gold medal from the Rama Jyothsna Trust for her excellency. Beyond academics, she finds joy in painting, reading, and meditation, and she is deeply committed to serving society.
Uma Gopal Bathina, Member
Ms. Uma Gopal Bathina was Senior Vice President in Citibank. She has worn different hats in her 16 years with Citibank, initially with Corporate Affairs covering Public Relations, Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Event management for the Bank’s India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh operations. Her next role was to set up and later expand the Micro-Finance business for Citibank across India. During this period, she covered retail as well as Corporate lending to microfinance individuals and companies. One of the highlights in this business was taking the first Indian Microfinance company public. Uma was also the team leader for the development of the Biometric ATM for the microfinance customers of Citibank. After her last role in Citibank in 2012, Uma is now active with children’s literacy through the Hyderabad based NGO Pustakaar. She is a member of the core team that plans and executes the NGOs vision to encourage underprivileged children in over 60 schools in Hyderabad to read and get comfortable with books.
