Introduction & Purpose

At Sri Satya Sai Vidya Mandir, run by Sai Seva Sangh, our mission goes far beyond academics. We are a charitable organization in Hyderabad dedicated to providing free education for girls, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, orphanages, and families struggling with poverty. Through holistic education for girls, we aim to nurture character, empathy, and leadership.

Our non-profit organization for girls offers not just free schooling, but also a free residential facility for girls, skill development programs, and value-based education that empowers them to dream and achieve. One such powerful platform for empowerment was the Oakridge Model United Nations (MUN), where our students participated with pride.

For our children—many from an orphanage in Hyderabad and underprivileged homes—this event was more than an academic exercise. It was a step toward women’s empowerment, leadership, and global awareness. It reflected our belief that free education for girl children is not just about books, but about exposure, courage, and opportunity.

Preparation Phase

Weeks before the conference, our girls worked tirelessly after school. As part of our holistic and value-based education, they researched environmental policies, wrote position papers, and practiced diplomacy. The agenda—Strengthening Environmental Recovery and Resilience in the MENA Region—gave them a chance to link education with skill development. They discussed climate change, water scarcity, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture.
